AIR PICNIC AND POLISH HOT AIR BALLOON CHAMPIONSHIPS IN PACZKÓW

Every year at the end of July, the sky above Paczków and the Paczków Reservoir in Kozielno is filled with colourful hot air balloons. This marks the start of Air Picnic, which has become a permanent fixture on the summer calendar in the Opole region. In July 2019, the

Polish Hot Air Balloon Cup was also held for the first time. Every year, the sporting events are accompanied by numerous concerts and activities for children, art exhibitions and open-air painting sessions. There is also no shortage of delicious food. The night-time balloon shows are also a real treat. For several years now, the Paczków-Kozielno Nordic Walking Race has been organised during the picnic. The picnic is organised by the Paczków Municipality, the Culture and Recreation Centre in Paczków, and the Wrocław Balloon Sports Club.
