INTERNATIONAL TOURISM FAIR TOWARDS THE SUN IN OPOLE

Every year in May, Opole's market square turns into a tourist wonderland. The International Tourism Fair "Towards the Sun" is a showcase for numerous countries, regions and tourist attractions from Poland and abroad. It is accompanied by numerous

attractions: competitions with prizes, tastings and cooking demonstrations, artistic and sporting performances, lectures and film screenings, meetings with travellers and much more. In 2019, the Travellers' Festival was held for the first time, featuring films and lectures from around the world.

In 2011, the International Tourism Fair "Towards the Sun" won the award for the Best Tourist Product of the Opolskie Voivodeship – OROT Certificate 2011 in the event category.
