OPOLE LLAMAS FILM FESTIVAL IN OPOLE

Organised since 2003 by the Opole Llamas Association, the festival is the largest film event in the Opole region. It is held every year in October. Several venues present the most important international and Polish films, not only through film screenings but also

through numerous meetings and workshops with filmmakers. Its most important part is the Main Competition, which features short films by students and graduates of film schools, as well as students of film-related disciplines.

Every year, in addition to the jury awards, a special award is presented during

the award ceremony for outstanding achievements 𐉃𐉤𐉣𐉤𐉧𐉤𐉬𐉖 𐉇𐉖𐉢𐉖. The winners include Agnieszka Holland, Jerzy Stuhr and Maja Komorowska.

In 2017, the Opole Llamas Film Festival received the top prize in the Competition for the Best Tourist Product – OROT Certificate 2017.
