The diverse guests of Zapiecek Restaurant prove that in the cosy atmosphere of a traditional grandmother’s cottage, everyone feels at home: from a serious businessman in a suit, to a truck driver on the road, to someone seeking a relaxed feast. After all, everyone needs a little homely warmth. Zapiecek's offering is guided by the maxim: "Recipes as old as time, as good as bread and as reliable as a friend". The aroma of the local chicken and beef broth simmering on a real country stove cannot be compared to anything else. And potato pancakes from a baking tray? These delicacies attract local gourmets to Zapiecek, and tables for Sunday lunches must be booked well in advance.

Restaurant owners share with their guests not only a love of good, traditional flavours, but also a genuine passion. For a long time, they had been collecting antique kitchen equipment and decorations from attics and cellars. Everything here is authentic: photographs of parents on the walls, old skis fastened with buckles, and a spinning wheel.

The photograph taken in 2012 at the Presidential Palace during the tasting of juices from Zapiecek, as part of the "AgroLiga"competition, is also authentic.

The wood-fired kitchen gives the restaurant's interior a unique character and the regional dishes a homely flavour. It is also possible to order takeaway meals.

Next to Zapiecek, there is a hotel with accommodation facilities and the Złota Kaczka Restaurant, used for banquets, weddings, and other special events.
