THE BOŻEJÓW CASTLE RESTAURANT
Bożejów Castle is a place where everyone is bound to find something for themselves. Its ideal location in the heart of the Stobrawa Forests is perfect for romantic stays and walks surrounded by woodland, as well as for hosting special celebrations and corporate events, and it also entices guests with excellent cuisine served in stylish restaurant interiors.
The restaurant at Bożejów Castle was created with regional cuisine in mind as well as
hunter’s cuisine. The restaurant menu is based on regional dishes using products supplied by local producers.
The menu has no shortage of game dishes, prepared in the restaurant's own smokehouse, which is more than 200 years old. Game cuisine is closely related to the history of the castle. Before World War II, the castle owners organized hunts in which, among others, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Prussian aristocracy took part. In addition to the main hall, the restaurant has two smaller rooms in the castle section: a room on the ground floor next to the reception, featuring classic furniture that reflects the atmosphere of the place, and the atmospheric "Don Vito" pub on the second floor, maintained in a 1920s style. The venue also features an ancient oven, where delicious natural sourdough starter bread is baked from time to time.
In addition to dining rooms in the castle section, the restaurant also features a beautiful outdoor area, offering guests deckchairs and tables with benches, where they can admire unspoiled nature and the animals that permanently inhabit Bożejów. With families and children in mind, a special colourful children’s menu and a large playground have been prepared.
