STOBRAWSKI LANDSCAPE PARK
Located in the Stobrawa, Budkowiczanka, Bogacica, Brynica and Smortawa river basins bordering the Oder, it primarily protects forest ecosystems, wet meadows and oxbow lakes located in the valleys. Together with a complex of breeding ponds, these places are a refuge for many rare specimens of flora and fauna. It is home to 49 legally protected plant species and approximately 130 rare species, as well as about 250 protected animal species, including 165 bird species. One can encounter such species as white-tailed eagles, black storks and cranes here. Four nature reserves have been established within the park: Barucice,
Leśna Woda, Lubsza and Rogalice, as well as three Natura 2000 sites. Apart from its natural assets, the towns located within the park's boundaries – Pokój, Zagwiździe, Karłowice and Studzionka – are also worth mentioning. The area of the park is best explored by moving along designated tourist trails. The rivers within the park are perfect for water tourism.
Stobrawski Landscape Park makes you feel like you are at the seaside. This is due to the local dunes, the height of which can reach 20–30 m. Formed at the turn of the glacial and post-glacial epochs, they are a unique attraction of the Opole region.
They can be encountered near such areas as Dąbrówka Łubniańska, Brynica, Karłowice, Ładza and Popielów.
In 2014, the product "Rest on the Stobrawski Green Trail" won an award in the Competition for the Best Tourist Product of the Opolskie Voivodeship – OROT Certificate 2014.
