MUSEUM OF METALLURGY OF THE MAŁA PANEW VALLEY IN OZIMEK
The Museum of Metallurgy of the Mała Panew Valley, located in the building of the former management of the Royal Malapane Ironworks in Ozimek, is one of the most interesting industrial tourism attractions in the Opolskie Voivodeship. The museum's collections present the history of the ironworks, which is still in operation today and is the oldest operating ironworks in Poland. The exhibition features a variety of items produced over the years at the local ironworks, from cast iron pots and dishes to artistic products and religious art. An important part of the museum's exhibition is the history of iron bridges cast and constructed in Ozimek, including the most famous one – the oldest iron suspension bridge in continental Europe. The Metallurgy Museum is run by the Association of the Mała Panew Valley. It is located right next to the iron suspension bridge in Ozimek and is open on Saturdays and Sundays. Visits on other days are possible with prior phone reservation.
