PAWŁOWICE PALACE

Here is another palace on the map of the Opole region which, following thorough renovation, has been successfully adapted for hotel use. The von Pannwitz residence, exhibiting Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque characteristics, was erected in 1864 and subsequently remodelled multiple times. For many years, the building housed a kindergarten and later a school, which finally closed in 2002. Renovation and adaptation works were completed in 2010, opening an entirely new chapter in the residence’s history. Today, its luxurious interiors house a hotel with a spa zone and an exquisite restaurant belonging to the ‘Opolski Bifyj’ Culinary Trail. As a member of the Culinary Heritage network, it serves traditional regional dishes, including the famous kołocz śląski (crumb cake). The palace also features a vineyard established in 2015. The entire complex is enveloped by a small, charming park.
