MUSEUM OF POLISH SONG IN OPOLE
This is a must-see on every trip, because, after all, where else could such a place be created if not in Opole, a city full of song - the Capital of Polish Song, home of the National Festival of Polish Song? Opened in 2016, the museum is one of few places of this kind in Europe. It presents the history of Polish song from the 1920s to the present day. Fully interactive, with two music walls serving as multimedia players, it invites all music lovers and fans of the Opole festivals to step in. The absolute hit of the exposition are the recording booths in which anyone can record themselves singing a song and send it via e-mail as a souvenir. The area dedicated to stage fashion is also very popular - here you can see authentic outfits worn by stars and try them on in a virtual mirror.
The museum has received many awards, including an award in the regional competition for the Best Tourism Product - OROT Certificate in 2016. It has also received the Polish Tourism Organisation Certificate 2016. Today it is without a doubt one of the biggest attractions of the Opole region, a place of great fun for children and adults, and a must-see. In such incredible multimedia spaces filled with music, you forget about the whole world, and time flies by.
