BIECHÓW PALACE

The Neo-Renaissance palace complex was in the hands of the von Hoditz family between 1658 and 1720. In the early 19th century, it passed into the ownership of the Matuschka family. In the years 1856-1863, in place of the palace which burned down in 1854, the current palace complex was build to the design by the architect Karl Lüdecke from Wrocław, commissioned by Eloi (Eligiusz) Maria Matuschka-Topolczan. Currently, the palace is in private hands and is unavailable to the public, but its exterior is worth a look.
