PAULINE MONASTERY IN MOCHÓW

The Pauline monastery in Mochów near Głogówek and the Church of the Holy Trinity and Our Lady of Częstochowa were founded in 1388 by Prince Władysław Opolczyk. Twice in its history, the monastery served as a refuge for the original painting of Our Lady of Jasna Góra. The first time was during the Swedish Deluge.
