NYSA LAKE

Picturesquely situated at the foot of the Opawskie Mountains, Nysa Lake was created in 1971 as a reservoir in the Nysa Kłodzka Valley. Its clear waters, varied shoreline, extensive beaches, recreational centers and well-developed tourist infrastructure make it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The lake is located within the Otmuchów-Nysa Protected Landscape Area and the Natura 2000 "Zbiornik Nysa" Special Bird Protection Area.
