Red Trail – Main Sudeten Trail named after Mieczysław Orłowicz.
Length – section in the Głuchołazy commune – 37 km (walking time: approx. 12 – 13 h). Initially not very difficult, it follows a route with picturesque views of the Jeseníky Mountains, but after entering Głuchołazy, it takes on a mountainous character. It allows to explore the most important attractions of the Opawskie Mountains.
Within the Głuchołazy region, the trail runs from Sławniowice, through Gierałcice, Uroczysko pod Czechami and Bodzanów to Głuchołazy. In town, it passes through the Market Square and the spa area (Jana Pawła II Avenue) to the trail junction at the Cupid fountain. The trail then traverses the massif of Góra Parkowa, also known as Chrobry Mountain, through Przednia Kopa (495 m above sea level) and along the slopes of Średnia and Tylna Kopa to Podlesie. From Podlesie, the trail follows the national border, through Konradów to Skowronków, and then on to Jarnołtówek. The trail enters Jarnołtówek next to the parish church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle. It then passes through the center of the village and further climbs the slope of Kopa Biskupia (890 m above sea level) to its summit. From the top, the trail descends through Srebrna Kopa (785 m above sea level), Zamkowa Góra (571 m above sea level) and Szyndzielowa Kopa (533 m above sea level) to Pokrzywna. From there, the trail heads towards Nowa Wieś and Prudnik.
