LEWIN BRZESKI RESERVOIR
The bathing beach in Lewin Brzeski, with its surrounding infrastructure, meets all the requirements for true relaxation. It is located in a former gravel pit at ul. Nysańska. It is a modern recreation and leisure complex, equipped with separate bathing areas for younger children and stronger swimmers. The massive recreational pier, over 120 metres long, that surrounds the bathing beach is impressive. The clean, sandy beach catches the eye. A modern skatepark has been built near the bathing area with young people in mind, while a playground with a tower, slides and swings has been built for younger children. A volleyball court and a grass football pitch have also been built, along with an outdoor gym with 11 pieces of exercise equipment. There is also a barbecue area, and in the summer, you can use the catering facilities located on the premises. At the entrance to the beach, there is a food truck selling ice cream and iced coffee. The site is well-lit and monitored 24 hours a day, and the bathing area is supervised by professional lifeguards from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily during the bathing season (22 June–1 September). Importantly, admission to the beach is free. . A car park, litter bins, benches and toilets are available. In 2015, the Lewin Brzeski Municipality was honoured with a statuette for one of the best-implemented projects under the Operational Programme Fisheries
