MIDDLE TURAWA LAKE

The Middle Lake is located on the southern side of the Large (Turawa) Lake. It was created after the extraction of gravel needed for the construction of a large reservoir dam. The recreation and leisure complex has undergone extensive modernisation in recent years, making it one of the most popular resorts. The main problem of the lake was blue-green algae, which effectively scared off potential water enthusiasts. Several years ago, an aerator was installed in the middle of the lake. This device injects air into the water using special preparations that prevent bacterial growth, making the lake water clean. The aerator is powered by wind energy.

There is a clean, sandy beach by the lake, and a lifeguard watches over the safety of swimmers. The Middle Lake has excellent infrastructure, including a beach volleyball court, playgrounds, water-sports equipment rental (kayaks and pedal boats), regular bicycle rentals, a bicycle repair station, an outdoor gym, and numerous dining options. The Linolandia Rope Park, with its fantastic obstacles, is undoubtedly a big attraction for children. It is the perfect place for those who value active leisure. An illuminated promenade for walkers has been constructed around the lake. Benches and litter bins have been placed along the promenade.

The Middle Lake is a great place for relaxation, water sports or fishing. Numerous bicycle paths have been created around the lake, which can be used to go around the entire lake.
